Alix Lapri was born November 6, 1996 in Topeka, KS.  At the age of three, it was noticeable that she had taken special interest in music.  By age six, Alix performed for the first time publicly singing Mariah Carey's "Hero."  This performance gave Alix her first taste of the stage.  In that moment, with all eyes on her, Alix realized performing was her true love.

Joining at age seven, Alix was a committed member of the Topeka Boys and Girls Club for 4 years. During that time, she participated in every talent showcase that the club provided, collecting her trophies along the way.  In 2003, Alix entered Kansas City's talent showcase, "Summer in the City."  As the only child performing in the showcase, Alix placed third overall.  Age nine brought about more achievements, as Alix won first place at Kansas' Annual "Juneteenth" Talent Showcase.  Subsequently, more notice was given her as she was invited to sing at the Florida Junior Hockey State Championship.  These accomplishments boosted Alix’s self-confidence, making her aware of a special gift she had been blessed with.

Through her journey, Alix has become known as the “little lady with the big voice.”  She has been invited to perform the National Anthem at several local sporting events, performed at the American Cancer Society's "Relay for Life" fund raiser, and has also snatched up every opportunity to sing at weddings, churches, and other events.  Alix has been given several opportunities for vocal features on a number of songs with local artists, and a most notable acknowledgment was a write-up by the local newspaper which mentioned Alix Lapri specifically for her performances on YouTube – which also gained mention by Nickelodeon.

Determined for the world to know her, Alix’s family considered a move to Atlanta, GA to further Alix’s career.  Months later with only God leading the way, Alix’s mom transferred with her job and the entire family moved to Atlanta in search of larger opportunities for Alix.
